To Do List
I was recently reading another blog I came across and the author was posting her May to do list. She is a mother and wife with another kid on the way. Her list seemed very daunting to me and I don't have near as many constraints on my time. I then began to think that usually no amount of goal or list making actually gets me to accomplish the things that are on said list. Mainly because things that I feel the need to put on the list are things that I don't feel like or plain don't want to do but are things that I think would be great to have accomplished. Then when they don't get accomplished I feel depressed and disappointed in myself. So anyway I have decided to create a to do list of things I know will get done and give myself a little boost as I put a check mark next to each one.
Watch Babel (in order to send back and get the next Netflix movie in the queue)
Do several more Origami items
Watch all my favorite TV shows
Have in depth discussions about relationships with roommate once a week.
Sleep in every Saturday
Catch a dollar movie whenever there happens to be a good one playing
Find some lovely brown shoes for work
Attend Bachelor night at Lacey's every Monday
Think about how your going to lose weight and when that should start
Think about how you are totally going to screw that up
Long for my birthday to come where I am having a spa day with my mother
Long for when I go down to Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival
Have at least one Diet Coke a day
Check blogs three times a day and make a comment on at least one
Go to sleep after midnight every night
Talk to a family member on the phone at least once a week
For every cute vehicle I see imagine how I would look in that vehicle
Hit the snooze button for an hour before getting up to get ready for work
Read book club book
Get hair recolored and trimmed
Make a goal list all the while knowing little, some or all may not get done but try to trick myself anyway.
I think this is all very do-able.
