Just a little blurb into my life. We have had a power outage at my house everyday this week since the big storm. They only last about 20 minutes or so, which makes it extremely annoying. It happened twice the other day, one time while I was taking a shower so I had to finish in the dark. Another annoying thing is that across the street doesn't lose their power. I guess they are on a different grid then us.
Don't know if it just residual damage from the storm or from doing repair work in the area. All I can say is that I am getting really tired of it.

Our power went out for a couple hours this week. The worst part is resetting the time on all the clocks.
I was going to say the same thing as booklogged. The missing electricity would probably only be half as annoying if you didn't have to reset you alarm clock every day.
I was in the bathroom at work when the power went out. It was pitch black, but I managed to finish, wash my hand, find the paper towels and trash can, and make it out okay. You would think they could put one or two emergency lights in there!
My question is , would it be less annoying if the outage lasted longer? We keep hoping for a nice, long power outage at the bank but it never happens.
Framed, too bad you're on the east side of Vernal Ave. The power outage I was talking about in my last comment was from a blown transformer on the west side, down by my work. We actually got to leave work at 1:30 on a Friday. It was a great, paid, half-day off, but I guess it didn't affect you guys.
Yes resetting the clocks was extremely annoying. We did it the first three times but on the fourth time we let it go for a couple of days just to make sure it wouldn't happen again.
