Time to Try Try again

It's June 1st and I am going to try to lose weight again. Especially, now that I have packed on another ten pounds (sshh). I'm not gonna do anything too drastic. Well, maybe a little, but things need to change. Here is the plan:

-Drink more water (1 diet coke per day, which I'm a little sad that I'm already drinking mine early in the morning)
-Intersperse between Subway and Lean cuisine for lunch (today will be spaghetti)
-Candy intake will be reduced to Jolly ranchers (also to help me stop biting my fingernails
-Cook more dinners with a focus on smaller portions (bought a cookbook just for this)
-Try to go on a walk every night (I'm taking an idea from my cousin and aunt where I will rent audio books to download onto my ipod and will only allow myself to listen to it if I'm walking. So if it's a good book I'll walk more)
-Find other things than eating (including my fingernails) to occupy my time while watching a movie like: origami, scrapbooking, or just sit still.
-Will allow one night a week to eat out.
-Two nights out of the week must be for reading. (doesn't really affect the weight loss goal but just thought I would throw that in there, probably won't last after the Fall season starts though but at least for the summer.)


All of this with the mantra "I really wonder what I would look like if I was skinny"

I love your hair. The highlights are so pretty. Good luck with your goals. I've been doing pretty terrible with whole eating better/exercising thing. Ugh.

Thanks Cyndi, I actually like it quite a bit now. Don't you hate it how you can slip out of your diet/exercise thing so fast.

Wow! Who took that amazing picture of you? JK It is an amazing picture, but I'm sure that's not because of the photographer, but because of the subject.

I was thinking about coming down again tonight (mostly because I left my Cafe Med there), but also because I was hoping to watch Starter Wife with you. Maybe I can go walking with you, of course that doesn't help your book listening. Let me know what you think. I will call you a little later.

The last two weeks I've put on some of the weight I've lost because I haven't been walking, so I think you'll find that walking on a regular basis will make a difference. Your list seems very do-able, good luck!

I reaaaaaalllly need to get back on the weight-loss wagon. And I will as soon as I finish eating all the fattening stuff.

I actually exercised today! That's big for me. I'm going to need to drop some pounds or my Old Navy Flag tees won't fit. I'll have to give them to Aly and/or Katie. They might fit them after they're washed.

Here's to all our good intentions. I suggest you change that mantra to "I wonder what I WILL look like WHEN I AM SLENDER. It WILL happen.
