Should I be Flattered?

Last Friday I took my friend/coworker Nicole out to lunch as it was her last day at work. We had walked over to the California Pizza Kitchen at the Gateway and had a lovely meal. On our way walking back a red SUV drove by and as it did a somewhat good looking man leaned out his window and I made eye contact with him. He said loud enough to be audible but a little muffled: "I want to see you naked." Because I hadn't understood what he said at first I gave him a confused grin. Nicole hadn't really understood either but as we both thought more about it we were sure that was what he said.

I didn't know that people still did the yelling obscene comments out of car thing anymore (except in small towns). I know my friend likes to give the two syllable hey every now and again from her car but it is definitely not tasteless. I laughed a little to myself about the whole thing. I said to Nicole, well on one hand that kind of boosts my self-esteem because at least one person wants to see me naked but on the other I wouldn't want someone who would yell to a strange girl from his car to see me naked. Very little class shown there, my friend.

Speaking of the California Pizza Kitchen- apparently I have a gift of guessing what you had eaten there if you went. I met up with my friend Tonya and her friend Cami for a movie. They had gone to CPK and were carrying around to-go boxes. I asked what they had eaten but then decided to guess. I said Tonya got the Jamaican Jerk chicken. She shot me this very surprised look and sat up in her seat really quickly in amazement. Now I have been to CPK with Tonya before although it was many many years ago and I think she got that same pizza then so that is what I based my guess at. However, when I turned to Cami (whom I don't know really well) I was a little less sure of myself so I just spurted out "The four cheese pizza." Again the look of amazement on their face. 2 out of 2. I will try to use my super power for good.

Cassie - What did I eat at the California Pizza Kitchen?

Also... when people yell things like that out their windows, I always want to be like, "Well, how will you see me naked if you don't STOP?" I'm so sure. They just tell you and keep on driving! What if you had wanted to strip down for them?!

I wouldn't be surprised if you were the next new star on Heroes this next season. What with such a neat super power. Glad to hear it will be used for good.

Seriously, it's an amazing power. i couldn't believe it that night! My super power is knowing when there's fat in chicken...even in orange chicken from Panda Express. I can just sense it, even through all the breading and sauce.

I'm so jealous. CPK is always so busy when I want to eat there. Jeez.

As for the wanna-see-naked guy, yuck. Must be Salt Lake. I had a guy proposition me there once (many years ago). I couldn't
think of anything properly snide to say, so I just said, "No, thank you." Duh!

Hmm, interesting. I can't believe I spent the whole weekend with you and you didn't mention this?

I've never been to CPK, so I wonder if you will be able to guess what I get, if and when I do finally partake of their pizza. That is of course, if you are not with me on that occasion.

You know we haven't been to Laughing Stock in a while. I think Julie needs to plan a trip up here and we should go.

Cardine: you crack me up. I'm gonna go with Barbeque Chicken pizza.

Tonya: I remember when you first told me about your super power. I was fascinated.

Alyson: I had completely forgotten about it until yesterday. I was just talking to someone about Laughing Stock last night and I realized we hadn't been in a while. Yes Julie come on up.

Cassie, That is quite the story. As you know I am a fan of strangers yelling things at me, but only nice things! I think your "I want to see you naked" guy crossed the line. I haven't been to CPK, but I buy their frozen pizza from time to time(when Jeff is out of town, and I don't feel like cooking). What kind do you think I buy? Tonya, I love your super power! I never knew you had such an amazing gift. Nothing makes me more angry than fatty chicken! My own super power? I do have one, but I fear that if I talk about it too much it will go away.

Kaysie: knowing your love for all things Italian I'm gonna go with the classic Margherita pizza.

Yeah! I can finally comment! I've been having issues with blogger lately.

Anyhoo, I've never even heard of CPK, so I have no idea what I'd order. So, if you can guess what I'd get that would truly be amazing.

My superhero name is Static. Can you guess what my power is?

Aly and I talked last night and she's gonna talk to you about what weekend would be good for me to come visit. Can't wait!
