I'm Depressed about the Cake
It definitely doesn't look as good as I was hoping. The stenciling was really difficult even with help. It's not completely finished yet but I don't see how the finishing touches will make it better. I'll post pictures either Saturday night or Sunday and you can judge for yourself.

So the wedding was tonight? How did it go? I'm sure the cake was gorgeous, you're probably just being too hard on yourself. It sounds like it was a lot of work, and I'm sure Loralee was very grateful to have such an amazing friend!

I can't believe the stress you must have experienced making a wedding cake. Sounds so hard to me. I love the pictures you've posted so far. I'm glad you're sharing this experience with us.
So...how did it turn out? I bet it looked better than you thought. How was the wedding? Can't wait to see the cake pics!
