Bonus post: Stylish and Comfortable

I couldn't wait to start so here is a bonus post.
Who says beauty has to equal pain? (I reserve the right to remit this statement anytime in the upcoming days)

Meet my pink and brown Skechers. I first met these adorable shoes while looking for new tennis shoes to work out in. As I was in some mall shoe store perusing over the many different varieties trying to decide which quality was more important to me: suppotive arches, shock resistance if I was going to be running, the way it hugs my foot, these lovely ladies caught my eye. They were pink and brown (one of my most favorite color combinations) and though a tennis shoes looked really feminine. Also, they were Skechers, which is a brand that I love. I reluctantly tried them on knowing if I were to buy these they would not be for gym use and that's what I was there for. Oh they looked so perfect on my feet. But I needed tennis shoes. I left the Skechers and went back to the boring white workout shoes and found a pair I though would suit. They were a pretty penny and between longing glances back to the Skechers I knew I decided there was just no way I could leave that store without those shoes. They were meant to be mine.

My Skechers are a main staple to my wardrobe. I wear them all the time, interestingly enough way more than my gym shoes. I remember seeing a "What Not to Wear" episode in which a woman, who had dogs, would look like crap when she walked her dogs and they told her that she could still be stylish even when doing ordinary day to day things and still be comfortable. They showed the most adorable tennis shoes, so when I saw my Skechers I thought those are totally the same thing. I wear them practically everyday and they are really comfortable, I even took them to Europe with me (not so comfortable for walking on cobble stones, but I don't blame them for that, well maybe a little). I think there is something to be said of a shoe that you are willing to take with you around the world and wear for hip hop dancing. Yes, these were the shoes that I wore to my hip hop class. I felt pretty hip and was able to hop quite easily in these shoes.

Also, I don't ever care if they "match." I feel like they go with anything and everything. So to answer Kristin's question if the outfit comes first or the shoe, it is most definitely the outfit. But then again it could subconsciously be the shoe because I tend to wear some shoes way more often than others and so maybe I'm picking outfits that I know will allow me to wear those shoes. What do these shoes say about me? Well we have great conversations and though I think they get a little jealous if I choose to wear another pair of shoes, they know I will always come back. My love for comfort will almost always win out over any fancy high heels. Besides I see that pink and brown combo and I just melt everytime just like the first time I saw them.

Very nice. Love the brown and pink. I like Sketchers because they are comfortable. I don't like some of their ads at the mall, tho.

Ah, yes, I know them well. Very cute. And it is amazing how well they go with everything, being pink and brown, you wouldn't think so.
