Grateful to be able to laugh
Today was a pretty good day. I finished cleaning my room and ran a few errands. Definitely more productive than the past few days. I called Alyson and told her we had to do something because I was so bored and needed to get out of the house. I figured I would go up to Layton, since that is what I normally do and we have her place to ourselves but she suggested she come down to Salt Lake and we go eat at Cafe Med, one of our favorite places, and then catch a movie. After dinner we waited an hour to go see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but when we got to the theater it was sold out so we decided to watch a movie at my house. I picked Ghost Town. I just bought it today and I thought Aly would really like it. It is seriously the funniest movie I have seen this year. You need to check it out if you haven't already. We laughed almost all the way through and then we watched the bloopers which were hysterical. Even after we were done we kept laughing about other sayings we had and new ones we had picked up. It feels so good to laugh and mom, Julie and Alyson are usually the ones I laugh the most with. It makes everything good for a little while.

Aahh, that sounds like such a fun afternoon! I'm glad you enjoyed Ghost Town - I agree that it's absolutely hilarious. I should totally buy it, I loved it. I also learned from it. It was while watching it that I realized how much of a hermit I had become and how it wasn't making me happy. I've tried to correct it ever since.
And, I'm totally jealous that you ate at Cafe Med! I'm glad we went to the Cheesecake Factory when I was there, but now I'm seriously craving my delicious gyro platter! And, I can totally eat it now - though not the whole platter, of course! So, next time, can we please go there??? I'm thinking I'll head up in February, maybe around V-Day, since I can't think of a better way to spend the holiday. Well, I can, but it looks highly unlikely that I'll have a boyfriend by then! :)
Oh, and Mom and I went to Benjamin Button on Friday and really enjoyed it. It may not be for everyone, but I liked it. And, Brad is hot.
I'm pretty sure I'll be free on V-day so that sounds good to me. Cafe Med always sounds good to me.
I'll check with Aly before I make definite plans to go up, to make sure she can get the time off of work and that it won't interfere with schoolwork. Mmmm. I'm totally craving Cafe Med now!
